Why You Need To Insure Before Your Move

However from time to time, during the course of a move, situations do occur and furniture can be damaged.
Because we understand this, and so that we can take into consideration the best interests of both parties concerned (you the customer and us the removalist), we require you, the customer, to be covered or waiver liability.
The Financial Services Reform Act 2000 prohibits anyone from selling insurance without an agency license.
There is no such coverage available to removalists to blanket cover all their clients moves.
Insurance is cheap and easy to get and we advise all customers they should insure before their move, or waiver liability.
We will always explain this when we speak with you before your move is booked and again before we commence your move.
We only ever accept doing a customers move on these conditions that you, the customer, insure your possessions before your move, and that if you, the customer, chose not to insure you accept full responsibility and liablility on any, and all, damage incurred to your possessions during the course or your move.
